China Knowledge. Global Success.
As China continues to play a prominent role in international business, understanding how to conduct business in China is no longer an added-value to your CV, but rather a prerequisite to success. Yet, few business students and, even senior professionals, actually understand China. The DBIC program provides students with the critical and essential tools to understanding how to do business in China through a combination of subject-specific modules, company visits, and cultural activities. Through merging both"classroom knowledge" with real business practices, students are able to understand China beyond the rapid economic growth. Students who attend the DBIC program not only take part in an unforgettable experience, but also gain skills that will equip them for global success.

I would highly recommend the DBIC program to other MBA students. It was great to be in China and learn about Chinese business and culture, while experiencing it first-hand. The instructors and the program were fantastic and the Guanghua staff treated us very well!

  • Sommer Terry
Texas A&M University, Mays Business School MSc Student / DBIC Cohort 34: May 2013
In just two short weeks, I was able to learn so much about doing business in China through the lectures, corporate visits to Baidu and Coca-Cola, and a final group project where I had the opportunity to work with other DBIC participants from different countries and universities. While there was plenty of academic work, the program also included cultural excursions to typical tourist locations like the Great Wall and gave us opportunities to experience what life is like in China first hand. We even had a home-cooked dinner at a Beijing resident's home! I now have friends from all over the world, experiences I will never forget, and knowledge about China that I cannot wait to take into my career. I highly recommend the DBIC program.
